Superior Cosmetic Foam Solutions by Foamtec

At Foamtec, we are committed to delivering high-quality, versatile cosmetic foams that redefine the beauty experience. We specialize in producing hydrophilic polyester, polyether, and hydrophobic open-cell polyurethane foams customized to meet specific customer requirements.

Leveraging cutting-edge foam pouring and felting processes, we craft foams with super-soft, luxurious, ultra-fine cell characteristics. This level of refinement allows cosmetic manufacturers to tailor the delivery of liquid and powder materials to their customers, ensuring a seamless, enjoyable, and cost-effective makeup application experience.

1.       Hydrophilic Polyester foams – These foams are ideal flexible foams that absorb liquids, and are breathable, soft, and durable enough for multiple uses. They are used in applications where uniform application is the goal. For instance, the convenience of eyeliners with a foam tip in the same pencil as the colored liner lets users select a unique look every day. It’s quick and easy to contour the eyes or give them that smoky look for an evening without needing other products. To make your makeup go further, lightly dampen the sponge and squeeze out any excess water before using.

2.       Polyether foams – A subgroup of polyurethane foam, polyether is slightly more liquid resistant, allowing the makeup to stay on top of the applicator. It can also be treated with antibacterial materials for skin that may be prone to breakout while maintaining its soft and supple feel.

3.       Engineered foams – Did you know you can manufacture polyurethane foam to be slightly abrasive to remove dead skin cells from the face, neck, and chest? The texture is accomplished through our proprietary processing methods. This light buffing foam reveals a radiant and youthful glow that is soft to the touch.

4.       Felted foam – The ultimate in a luxurious feel, felted foam has many beauty applications. The foam is generally thinner and improves the ability of the foam to hold liquids, making it ideal for blending tools, facial massage, or applying masking compounds.

5.       Bioavailable – Polyurethane foams for cosmetic use are designed to be gentle on the skin and not cause allergic reactions. Polyurethane foams are not biodegradable, but the durability of polyurethane means you can wash and reuse applicators and actually extend the lifetime of the sponge.
